i applied for disability today

it was like a 75 minute phone call. Lady was nice. not sure how hopeful I am. Feeling kinda neutral. It's for mental illness so idunno.

I really hope they approve it because I'm super poor and it's hard on me to even sell plasma 4 times a month or to do yard work 2 hours a week.

I'd buy underwear and fix my tire and hire somebody to clean up the mold.

I'd go out to eat. I'd buy halloween decorations (from a thrift store). I wouldn't have to worry about gas. I could afford parts to repair things.

I could get a new phone charger cable. I've only had one for years and it's kinda iffy sometimes. I could buy a phone case.

My aunt just got me new shoes, so I'm okay there. I'd get a good pan to boil noodles (gonna do that anyway if i find one at thrift).

I'd buy presents, probably.

I wouldn't have to go sell plasma any more.

I wouldn't have to go sell plasma any more.

That would open up so much room in my life for healing. Selling plasma twice fucks up an entire week. I need to chill the day before and recover the day after and it's the only thing I can reliably do the day I go.

I'd get my flu shot and covid vaccine - i want to, but I don't want to feel like shit for 2 or 3 days if I have symptoms, especially since I sacrifice so many weeks to plasma. I need to get the vaccines anyway and just suffer through it. :(

I'd get a washer and dryer.

I might buy some woodworking tools. I don't woodwork often, but I like to when I feel good. And maybe if I weren't selling plasma I could do more of that.

I'd replace the seat on my computer chair - I'm currently sitting on blankets and my butt STILL hurts. I guess I'd get an extra cushy seat, too.

I'd stop trying to deal with my insurance and just go spend the $50 to get the heart test I need. The hospital has told me they won't bill my insurance for it, even though my insurance covers it.

I'd buy a new water filter for my fridge.

I'd get one extra set of bed sheets and pillow cases.

I'd get a gym membership. (My insurance has offered this to me for years but has failed to deliver it)

I might buy some weights, little dumbells or something.

I'd test my salt & pepper shaker for lead. (Ceramics, purchased from a thrift store)

I'd plant natives in my lawn ($25 license fee with the city, plus cost of seeds)

I'd buy some small gifts.

I'd print some photos and buy a photo album.

There's probably some other things.
