The Debate

Harris bragged about increasing oil production, building the most lethal military in the world, and continuing to provide bombs to Israel.

Trump blamed 90% of everything on the border, had a few jabs at Harris that I'd like to learn more about, but lacked any substance.

ABC was harder on Trump than Harris. They provided facts and asked pointed questions and pressed for yes/no answers that Trump wouldn't give.

They did this a couple times for Harris, but mostly let her off the hook.

"Are Americans better off than they were four years ago?"

I grew up middle class blah blah blah opportunity economy, couple things I'm gonna do

There was some substance, but JUST BE HONEST and ANSWER THE QUESTION.

Harris is the liberal and left's hopeful against Trump, but she's a dishonest imperialist.

Let me answer for her, Are Americans Better Off Than They Were Four Years Ago?

Not most of them. Our policies and investments have caused some short-term inflation, which will pay off in the long term with better roads, energy independence, manufacturing jobs, and less pollution.

Some communities are seeing the benefits already with strong union jobs, but many have not.

And massive conglomerates and monopolies have gouged the American people, causing the other part of the "inflation" you feel at the store.

Biden appointed Lina Khan to the FTC, who has fought for capping overdraft fees, blocking anti-competitive mergers, and addressing many harmful corporate practices meant to exploit consumers.

Our Department of Justice has filed lawsuits against a Texas oil producer for colluding to raise prices, against Google for creating a monopoly, and [there's one or two others to mention]

And our air travel is worse & more dangerous, but our Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has fought extensively to fix this, by requiring airlines to automatically refund passengers when a flight is cancelled, by assessing hundreds of millions of dollars in fines, and [other achievements]

So no, most Americans are not better off yet. But we've been working hard to fix problems that have existed for a long time, under both parties. We've done big things, and as you know, it just takes time for Government's solutions to play out. We're almost there.

There is SO MUCH Harris could draw from to be HONEST in her answers while still looking good.

But she shills and dodges questions and gives promises.

She's changed stances on several important issues, but refuses to answer why, and basically pretends her stance hasn't changed.

And she's going to keep sending bombs to Israel.

She's going to keep sending bombs.

Your tax dollars will continue to be used to buy bombs, enriching war profiteers, and killing innocent people in the middle east.

Your tax dollars, and mine, are killing people. And under Harris, this will continue.

A vote for Harris is a vote for murder in the middle east.

A vote for Trump is too, and is worse for so many reasons.

A vote for Jill Stein or Cornel West is a vote on principal that will yield no short-term benefit.

But maybe, just maybe, if enough of us refuse to support the Democratic party's war machine any more, maybe they'll actually change, or we'll grow third-party politics.

Oh, and this wasn't a presidential debate. It was a 2-party debate. West and Stein are on the ballots in many states (Stein in 40!).

This was not a presidential debate. It was a 2-party debate.

And ABC didn't ask Harris what she thinks about Stein's remarks that the Democratic party is a Fascist threat.

The media fails us and promotes the two war-machine parties, the two imperialist parties, the two corrupt parties, the two parties that care only about politics and care not for principles.
