Idea: Social media cross-poster

I post to a small privste Facebook account fairly regularly. When i have a lil thing i wanna share, i throw it on my fb.

A downside to this is that fb owns my posts AND facebook is not a good software for search and categorization.

I'd like an app that posts just as easily as the fb app does, and allows my post to go to a platform i own (say a website of mine) and to facebook and possibly other networks.

Hootsuite kinda does this, but it's so expensive and i don't think they support posting to a personal website.

This idea isn't really new, but an aspect that MAY be novel is this:

Essentially center the app/service around adding content to your personal website, and then also crosspost to other platforms.

Then you'd have your archive online on your personal site. You'd own your content and the posts to social media would be copies rather than original posts.

Idk might not be a novel idea, and this may already exist. I looked at only a few existing cross-post apps, and they seem centered around creator production, rather than content ownership. And they appear tied into existing platforms, without the ability to post to their own website or to a custom API.

P.S. Why does Facebook have like 15+ versions of their API? Why do the deprecate old versions constantly? It's exhausting and stupid.
