My req for queer-friendly book would be Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse (a 3-book series). There's an enby (Roanhorse doesn't say enby. In the book's world there's a different word for that) with xe/xir pronouns which makes me happy as an enby them. There's also plenty of gay. And it's all very casual, thank god (i mean roanhorse) there's no queer trauma. Queerness isn't the topic of the book at all. It just is a normal part of the world, it's actually not queer at all in Black Sun. It's just normal.
