little things
"I like your sweater," I said, a few weeks ago to the receptionist at my therapist's office.
We chatted a bit, and got to talking about a really beautiful nature preserve/park near us, that also has some cool statues and stuff, one I've been to many times.
We've chatted a little bit since then, when checking in for my Friday appointments. And this Friday, she said "Did you see they have their showcase this weekend?"
So I asked my best friend if she'd want to go. We've been going to this place since we were teens (like 18 years) and love it, but we had NEVER been in the mansion!
So for the showcase the mansion was open, and they had all kindsa Christmas lights up outside and it was all really beautiful and wonderful and we had a great time together and I'm so glad we went!
Wouldn't have happened if I hadn't complimented the receptionist's sweater weeks ago. Wouldn't have happened if she hadn't been wearing such a lovely sweater either!
