Over-committing
You go up for the ball, but you misread it. You're low boost and can't catch it. Do you keep trying, or bail and recover?
You made a mistake, it was a bad play. Sticking with it only makes things worse. It's okay you messed up, and it's okay to pull back, better actually.
You release, fall to the ground, gently landing on your wheels.
Chug that last 10 boost, drifting back toward net.
Your teammate flies over your head, whiffing on a good play.
Opponent shoots, but you're back to catch it.
It's a good lesson for Rocket League, and it's probably a good lesson for life too. I've over-committed to a lot of things before, and probably am still over-committed to some.
