I am an AI Hater | anthonymoser
I am more than a critic: I am a hater.

I am here to be rude, because this is a rude technology, and it deserves a rude response.

And to what end? In a kind of nihilistic symmetry, their dream of the perfect slave machine drains the life of those who use it as well as those who turn the gears. What is life but what we choose, who we know, what we experience? Incoherent empty men want to sell me the chance to stop reading and writing and thinking, to stop caring for my kids or talking to my parents, to stop choosing what I do or knowing why I do it. Blissful ignorance and total isolation, warm in the womb of the algorithm, nourished by hungry machines.
I love this. Especially the part where they choose to be a hater, choose to own it.
I am a hater of many things, but I often fail to own it. Github (owned by microsoft, and deeply involved in AI). Grass lawns. Phone Upgrades (unless your phone is practically unusable). Paper Towels. Plastic Bags.
I try not be rude about it, because I care about my relationships and I don't think my friendships would be going very well if I were rude about all these things all the time.
But it is refreshing to see somebody own being a hater. And I think they're right to be an AI hater. Is it effective? Idunno. I will keep advocating against its use. I will almost entirely avoid using it myself.
Oh and: Google search generates AI answers. You might be able to disable that. Or use Ecosia or Kagi or some other search engine that doesn't force AI on you.
