No Upvote Means No Upvote | Nick Hayes

I remember reading a post a bit back about finding a roundabout way of still upvoting them regardless of the measures OP put in place to stop getting them. And I remember thinking: Is this okay?
To me, I’d feel like my very clear boundary was disregarded.

Iiii was the one who circumvented a hidden upvote button (unless someone else did it too). I also had those thoughts, and idk ... I just thought it was a silly little funny thing, and wouldn't be a big deal. I guess I don't know how the blogger in question felt about it, though, or if they even knew about it.

Boundaries don’t stop being boundaries just because they’re digital and “unseen”.

I'm inclined to agree with you, and I will probably not do this again.

Edit: Sal posted about this and in their case, appreciated the upvotes, so I did, of course, unhide Sal's toast button again and I toasted that post too LOL, but I'll reserve that for Sal since they approved of it.
