An Archaeopteryx
I found Ruth's blog because they had posted about Generating a Table of Contents, and I was interested. Afteward, I made a plugin to generate ToC and emailed them about it. I'm very grateful for their original work on the ToC because I now am using one in multiple places on my blog.
I haven't actually read much of their blog, but I am impressed by their inventory of bearblog-related links and their dedication to css clamp.
And while I didn't actually read this post, Trying to Self-Host FOSS Software Once Again Makes Me Really Fucking Angry is a title that really resonates with me.
A long rant on well-meaning attempts to promote FOSS and what actually happens all too often when I try to use it to solve a problem.
I too have been a FOSS advocate and it often just is more difficult that it is worth. I should probably read that post soon when I'm in a reading mood. While I'm pro-linux in a lot of ways, I'm also very frustrated at it too and unfortunately main windows because the gaming scene (despite what people say) still sucks.
